Can the Hornby R8250 controller control more than one train on a layout

Both awesome locomotives. I do miss the water tender behind the Gresley pacific. BR said not allowed water tenders on mainline running. I have a water tender behind my OO scale peppercorn pacific aptly named TORNADO. They obviously had to be corridor tenders.

Would the model D work for American plugs and kato unitrack?

hello im from pakistan we still see these signals in some areas. kindly tell what it means when there is X shape on the signal and when O shape on the signals. i have also seen thoese type of semaphore signals having X and some has O on them. but these signals i usualy saw on big tailway stations or theoes stations whih has workshops too

are depol reliable these days?. watched this review as the class 50 is said to be a easy model to own and run

Hello, how many excact minimal volts it could provide? 0.1, 0.2, or 1V? For coreless motor it is very important. It has halfwave like Duette or pure DC?

Class 53 Falcon carried the chestnut brown and lime green livery at first but was repainted British Rail blue in 1970. It retired in 1975 due to its non standard nature and on the grounds of cost.

Good video. Thanks! As a former SR fan from Farnborough, Hants on the Waterloo-West of England main line, I've recently purchased Hornby's 30863 Lord Rodney with some Maunsell coaches. Runs like a dream. I think it's worthwhile mentioning that Oliver Bulleid's (late 1930s) modifications produced a great improvement in their performance (according to O. S. Nock). They look more impressive too!

How do I get around running multiple locos on two mains (one up,one down), on a DC layout without having multiple transformer units??.

Watching this less than a fortnight after the fatal blow was dealt, I can't but feel bereft. Hattons was such a gem that it's encouraging to get news of former competitors coming to their senses and taking in ever more departments under their wings. I just hope that all the superb staff are found new homes too. Just one thing about the turntables here. I did want to see at least mentioned the wonderfully child ahem friendly water pipe that Hornby had by the wheelhouse so that little chaps could enjoy turning it round and seeing the whole turntable rotate too. Simpler times!

Help!!! i am looking for a part for my dads realtrack class 156. I believe it is called the power truck. were located in the USA which makes it harder lol. (its what holds the wheel to the locomotive) im new to model trains so any help would be fantasctic. Thank You

I bought an old Dapol model of Stepney from Hattons. I think it was used as it was long after the tooling was sold to Hornby. But before Hornby started making the Thomas version. Hattons shipped it here to me in the states. Too bad to hear they are closing.

I want a true coal burning/propelled ho scale locomotive. I know it would require constant replenishing and be messy....but how cool would it be to have a true identical working scale replica of an old locomotive? Thats what i want. And if i get rich i will make it real.

Sorry Hattons, you need to sort out your very poor customer service. Refusing to refund a customer for a FAULTY loco because they "weathered it" is a poor cop out. If a customer buys a product that is NOT as described or NOT fit for purpose, (if they have weathered it or not), they are entitled to a full refund by law providing the weathering didn't cause the issue, which i don't think weathering a loco would cause it to randomly stop/derail etc. I know I wont be spending any more money with you guys, and by the way, I'm not the customer, i just seen this vid with the letter with your response, pathetic! And it seems 1000's of others who also seen the vid have the same thought, well done for losing lots of business due to poor customer service!
